| First let me(Tainted webmaster) apologize on behalf of our entire staff for not communicating what has been happening here the past few weeks. We just want to thank all of the people who have come to the site and read the first issue of T.O.S.:ZERO, the reader response was great and you have all helped to make our launch issue a success. Well, we know that many of you have been cheking this site the past 2 months and wondering "Where are the updates, what's happening?" We have received your e-mails and have been reading them, and we want you, the readers to know that we value your readership. |
| The Whole Story Quite frankly, our problems began when the owner of our building lost the entire property to foreclosure. As it turns out, we, along with others, had been paying him for office space for months and he was not making his payments to the bank who gave him financing. We, the good people over at tainted media, fresh off the launch of our company and also a huge investment of funds, found ourselves without offices to work in. Understandably, many people who work for us and with us, took this as a sign of trouble and jumped ship. Nonetheless, most of the core members of taintedmedia.com held together and quickly regrouped to a new(tiny) office. During this time of chaos, we really haven't been able to work on the site or answer e-mails as we were completly absorbed in salvaging the company. But the good news is that as I mentioned, we have relocated and are resuming work on T.O.S. as we speak. As of today 4/17/07, we are continuing our press forward but at a wounded pace, since we are a few staffers smaller and also a few dollars shorter, there is the inevitable delay on the next issue of T.O.S., but rest assured, it is coming and we will work night and day to get it out you guys as soon as possible. Please understand that our comics were designed to be created from a minimum staff, and currently, we are well below that minimum number of staffers. What that means is that we are adjusting our production system as we go, so we may end up hitting a few bumps(delays) along the way, we really don't know yet. We want to reassure all of you who have been asking, T.O.S.:ZERO Issue #2 is in production and on it's way, the official release date is set for may 26th, if we can, we will get it published sooner. Keep checking back for any news and updates which are resuming as we speak. Also check out the long overdue release schedule which is now added to the navigation links. Once again, we just wanna say thank you! We have big things on the horizon so stick around! |
